Despite the differences, cupcakes and stories are very much the same....
They are both easy to make/write, but it takes an expert to write/make them WELL.
If written/made correctly, they will rise up, but if made/written wrong, they will collapse.
I love cupcakes, and after just now spending an hour making them for my sisters baby shower tomorrow, I have decided that I love them even MORE when someone ELSE makes them....
